The Game of FŌM26 ROUND ONE: JESUS MANUEL
PLAYING IT FORWARD FOR JESUS MANUEL
From May 11th to June 5th, our team is #PlayingItForward for Jesus Manuel and his mother as we begin Round 1 of the FŌM26 game.
#PlayingItForward is a reminder that even everyday work can create a meaningful impact beyond our walls. Through this initiative, we have the opportunity to support individuals, families, and organizations in meaningful, tangible ways and be part of something bigger than ourselves.
SUPPORTING JESUS MANUEL
This round, we are playing for Jesus Manuel.
Jesus is 29 years old and was born with cerebral palsy. Recently, he was also diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, adding to the challenges he already faces each day.
He lives at home with his mother, who serves as his sole caregiver. Due to ongoing pain and mobility limitations, Jesus is primarily confined to his wheelchair, though on his better days he is able to use his walker.
Right now, they are struggling to access the supplies and pain management resources he needs. Through the support generated during this round, we hope to help provide a lighter wheelchair that will significantly improve both his comfort and independence. We hope these efforts will help connect the family with additional community resources to further support Jesus’s care and everyday needs.
Despite everything he endures, Jesus continues to radiate joy. He is known for his incredible smile, his love for spending time with family, and the happiness he finds in visits from children.

We are grateful to walk alongside Jesus and his mother through this journey.
