As Kansas City's largest literacy volunteer corps, Lead to Read KC deploys over 1,600 volunteers who mentor around 1,200 students across 28 schools, ensuring that no child has to face academic challenges alone. Their dedication is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to read, learn, and thrive without financial barriers or systemic setbacks.
