EDspaces 2024: Where Education Meets Innovation

EDspaces 2024 was one for the books! We spent the week showcasing our new products, connecting with the community, and sharing our passion for innovative educational spaces... Designed Classroom: Engage | Envision | Execute

We're thankful to have been part of one of the designed classrooms for EDspaces 2024. This space used The Career Technical Education (CTE) classroom model, which exemplifies the experiential learning process, where students engage hands-on to connect classroom theories to real-world applications.

The CTE Classroom Model operates around three key phases of experiential learning: Engage, Envision, and Execute, each supported by specific areas within the classroom to enhance learning experiences:

Engage: This area uses mobile, height-adjustable chairs and tables arranged in a circle to encourage open communication and active participation among peers.

Envision: A retreat area where students can reflect on their learning and enhance their problem-solving skills in a relaxed setting facilitated by soft, mobile furniture.

Execute: Here, students apply their problem-solving skills in a practical setting. The area includes sturdy, flexible furniture and extensive storage for supplies, making it the ideal maker space.

In combination with Hertz Furniture and various other partners, we contributed Fōmcore products like Anderson Chairs, Nests, the Step Series, Gear Sets, and Curved Sofas. These pieces not only enhance the functionality of each learning zone but also align with the classroom's goal to foster an engaging, reflective, and active learning environment.

At our booth this year at EDspaces, we were excited to debut our lineup of new products for 2025.
