One customization option we offer is our laminate tops. With 6 laminate colors you can add a table top surface to any of our standard pieces like the Round and Rectangle Ottomans or Corner Armless Ottoman.

Additionally, all of our pieces in the Ottoman, Bench, and Social Series have the ability to be POWERED UP (depending on the leg option chosen). We use an AC/USB combo under-mount unit. Choose from White or Black for the metal trim and 5 color options for the plastic cover.

Some of our most popular product series have been created as a result of our custom capabilities. In 2019 we teamed up with a Career Tech class of Juniors at Desert Hot Springs High School in California for our first ever “For Students by Students” project. Our goal was to connect with students and staff at the local school to craft a tailor-made curriculum allowing students to design a unique piece of furniture that serves a purpose in their classroom. For three months students worked in teams, thinking through construction and design elements but even more, engaged in philosophical conversations on how a space makes us “feel” and the “purpose” furniture should serve in such spaces.

At the end of the three months students presented their ideas, and we landed on the Nest: a versatile piece that allows for students to both engage with a group or find a quiet moment alone. Because of the students’ creativity and our ability to make this custom design come to life, we now have a line of these adaptable pieces that are perfect for the classroom environment.
