Camp Cole's mission is to bring joy to children, teens, and adults with illnesses, disabilities, and other life circumstances that may not be ideal. Camp Cole is named in memory of Cole Sawyer, an 11-year-old boy who lost his battle to cancer in 2004. During his battle, Cole and his family were inspired to build a camp in his memory by a local camp that catered exclusively to children with cancer. A few years into planning, his mother, Stacy, unexpectedly passed away. With support from a generous community of friends and followers, the Camp Cole team forged ahead with Stacy's dream.
