Durability-of-our-Foam.jpg

Last week, we talked about the three different types of foam that we use: 35lb, 70lb, and 100lb. Each of these types serve a purpose for our different pieces, and our knowledge of foam allows us to choose what will work best for creative spaces.

Our pieces bounce back quickly and suffer no additional breakdown when put under stress in school and work environments.

Not only does the usage of different types of foam allow us to adapt pieces for comfort, but it increases durability as well. Many of our competitors use a lighter foam, like the 35lb, for all of their pieces. When pressed against a piece of wood that many others place only a few inches below the foam, a 35lb foam will break down quickly over time. In comparison, our usage of 100lb and 70lb foam withstands the pressure of breakdown, and our fully-foam construction makes our furniture much safer.

If a student were to fall and land on the side of one of our pieces, they would have a much lower chance of hurting themselves. We always prioritize the safety of our students, and one of the ways that we do this is through our choice of foam. In addition, our pieces bounce back quickly and suffer no additional breakdown when put under stress in school and work environments. We believe in the quality of our pieces, which is why we offer a lifetime warranty.

Our knowledge about these different types of foam is what allows us to choose the pieces that will work best in new, innovative spaces. We’re proud to be able to provide YOU with furniture that is adaptable, durable, and comfortable. When foam is shipped to our warehouse, we don’t just see the loaves or “buns” that were baked in the oven - we see possibilities for your future working and learning spaces. Until next time, the "#FoamExperts are signing off!
