In last week’s #AtOurCore segment we met Ron, our Chief Financial Officer. This week we sat down with Jonathan Gerber to talk about all things engineering. Let’s get to know him a little better!

Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role here at Fōmcore?

Hi, I'm the Engineering Manager at Fōmcore! I am involved in everything technical: maintaining our ERP system, improving and introducing new processes, creating floor layouts, and designing products.

What are some of your interests/hobbies outside of work?

I love road biking, traveling, soccer, and playing tennis with my wife. When there is a good wind, I enjoy going out kitesurfing on Lake Michigan. I really like to try out new things, and right now I’m interested in scuba diving.

What is your favorite thing about working at Fōmcore?

Fōmcore is more than just a workplace for me. I am thankful for being surrounded by great role models, friends and professionals. The culture here is amazing!

What is your favorite piece that we make and why?

I love our new “Zero Gravity Chair”. It is a great design that brings ergonomics and total relaxation into one piece of furniture...it’s like sitting on a cloud! ”
